Doctor Nadia Hanif has been very active in the Yuma community for many years. Her medical career started when she completed her internship in Internal Medicine from Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, NY and then moved to Phoenix for her Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph Hospital. After she relocated to Yuma, Arizona with her Husband and three children.
She has been residing in Yuma for the last decade, she has dedicated her life to improving health care in Yuma by various means, including voluntary work for the community and patient education by forming the non-profit health organization PEOPLE OF YUMA HEALTH ASSOCIATION or POYHA. Currently she is vice president of this non-profit organization.
Her vision is to improve health care in Arizona as well as jobs and the economy.
She believes that by improving Health Care in Arizona, it will attract Medical tourism and People will come to cities like Yuma not only for good weather but also for better health care. Also see her in information in Wikipedia
